Arbitration is your right to get out of debt

Question: Is your debt stressing you out? Need help? Well get ALL that unsecured debt (credit cards, lines of credit, medical bills etc) negotiated and settled. They eliminate ALL your interests rates and fees. Get out of debt fast and improve your credit rating. This is NOT credit counseling, debt consolidation, debt management or refinancing. It is arbitration for your debts.

Answer: I was thinking the same thing and picturing him as a tout you might find in a big city: “he you stupid morons come in and check it out…we have stuff for clueless idiots just like you…”

Sometimes when people get over their heads in unsecured debt and have limited assets the best advice is to simply do nothing other than demand that the collection agencies cease all contact with you. Lacking major assets they will not sue. When you demand the end of contact they have to abide by your wishes or sue you. Yes, your credit will be shot but it most likely is already pretty poor if the debts have been turned over to collection agencies. I am not defending anyone skipping out on a debt but if the choice is you 6 month past due credit card or rent the choice is obvious. First, you do not have a right to arbitration over a legitimate debt. As I already noted your bank will laugh when you stop paying your bill and demand arbitration. Second, arbitration is often used on the terms ans conditions but those terms sometimes state that arbitration is your only recourse and prohibit you from going to court.
