Answer: Sorry I came down a little hard on you, I had no excuse. Your debt may seem large, but many other people have gotten themselves out of worse. There are all kinds of ways you can make extra money if you can find the time, tutoring in your area is only one. If you have any abilities with statistics and your university has people getting advanced degrees in areas such as education and the social sciences, you may be able to improve your financial situation by helping them with the statistics required in their dissortations or theses, they often have a lot of trouble in that area. That’s the first one that comes to mind. Probably the first thing to do is to stop using the credit cards if you haven’t already done so.
