Debt Consolidation Services

Question: > as effectively as a professional credit officer can. Your creditors > will simply not listen to you whereas they will to some extent > consider the views of another professional. This observation stems > from my almost 2 decades in the consumer financing business.

Answer: I have called upon all of my creditors. I got them all to lower their rates except 2 of them. One reduced the rates really low and invited me to call back in 6 months to renegotiate to get the real low interest. They were the most helpful. For the moment until I make a decision I am putting all my resources into the highest interest card in the event I can’t work out a better way. My situation is changing this year and I should not be adding to my debt anymore, but my pay will be a little less. I am concerned more about paying off these debts because of age. I won’t have a chance to get anything put aside for retirement. This is about as much as I can give you. For more detailed advice, you will have to contact a consumer advocate group or the consumer state authorities in where you live. I’m sure your state will have published several pamphlets on the subject.

Whatever you do, do not follow ANY advice you get off a BBS or the net, including mine. Remember that if things don’t work out the way you intended, it will not be my ass that’s in the sling, it will be yours.
