credit history

Question: During the past three years, Iv’e sustained some marks to my credit record. Iv’e had a single incident of both a 30 day past due, and a 60 day past due payment on a charge card. Will this come back to bite me during the loan qualification process in the near term. I have been told the majority of lenders are most concerned with the last 2-3 years of payment history, rather than an isolated incident stemming back several years. How much, if any truth is there to this assumption?

Answer: Find out if you qualify for that loan or mortgage before you go to the bank! With the Self-Qualifying Home Loan Booklet. Avoid the embarrassment of being turned down, avoid paying the non-refundable application fee (usually $250), avoid the invasion of your privacy and maintain your peace of mind. Simple booklet with easy to follow instructions, using laymans’ terms, allows you to examine your qualifications in the privacy of your own home. Workbook will also clearly show you what areas are your opportunties for improvement. Please send check or money order of $19.95 + $1.50 S&H to:
