Question: Well said Max. Thank-you for voicing exactly my opinion of SUV’s. They > are a big step in the WRONG direction. I think the people who choose > them are fools on a grand scale.
Answer: hey- if they have the money… whatever. i just think theyre stupid because of the “opportunity cost”. i personally know 2 people who live in apartments and want to buy houses… someday. both went out and just got bigass SUVs. one’s paying $570/mo for the next 6 years. i sure hope she doesnt plan on getting preapproved for a home loan now, because shes got a $570/mo commitment for the next 6 years, which is $570/mo which cant go toward a house payment.
its all about priorities… get the house or whatever first, budget, and *then* see if you have cashflow left over for a bling bling ride.
