Question: Geeeez! That’s a lot of typing for such a simple concept! Just say this:
We’re going to charge you hundreds of dollars to convert your mortgage to a bi-weekly mortgage (from 12 payments per year to 13 payments per year).
Or, you can take your monthly mortgage payment, divide by 12, add that divided figure to your monthly payment, send it in.
WALAH! 13 payments per year.
Now, wasn’t that a lot simpler than…………….
Answer: Why???? What’s so spooky about that? If anything, I think Ken is doing a great service to many people in this newsgroup who may not have the time to search for things on the net. if you don’t mind my asking, what do you do for a living? You seem to posses a wide range of knowledge and information, which, fortunately, you share with this NG. I also find that most of your advise has merit, or at least is well-thought out and logical. Just curious. How much time do you think it took? Altavista showed 121 English-language sites containing the word. I ignored those which showed Arabic names in the listing, and found http://dunkin.princeton.edu/.kitfox/kitlist/kitl9506.txt in about 3 minutes total search time, using my browser’s edit/find tool to confirm usage. The entire list probably took no more than 15 minutes to generate. If that scares you, you must lead a sheltered life.
